RP MISSION WORK

Home Our Church Resources Bulletin Mission

Our church supports a number of mission activities both within our local church and at the denomination level.

This is summarized for the Board of Foreign Missions:

"The Board of Foreign Missions motivates and leads the denomination to fulfill the Great Commission by planting strong churches outside North America and by ministering to nationals wherever they may be. Over the years, Reformed Presbyterian missionaries have been active in Australia, China, Cyprus, Japan, Manchuria, and Syria. Upon recommendation of their sessions, others have served in specialized foreign ministries under the oversight of other agencies."

and the Board of Home Missions:

"The Board of Home Missions facilitates the establishment of new Reformed Presbyterian congregations in North America by providing Counsel, Encouragement, Resources, and Training (CERT) to presbyteries. The Synod has declared that church planting should be a high priority and has encouraged each presbytery to adopt a goal for new mission churches. New works are under consideration in every presbytery. The Home Mission Board also provides help to local congregations in the area of evangelism and church growth."
