Pastor Don Piper was born in Illinois and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA with a B.S. in Pre-Medicine in 1965, the same year he committed his life to Christ. Following graduation he went to the Reformed Presbyterian Theological seminary in Pittsburgh, PA. After two years of study there, he married his wife, Boni, who was born and raised in Beaver Falls and who also graduated from Geneva College. They moved to Seattle where they both taught school. After two years of teaching, they heeded the Lord's call and went as missionary school teachers with the Reformed Presbyterian Church to the Island of Cyprus where they ministered for four and a half years. Following the war in Cyprus in 1974, they returned home, where they taught school in Beaver Falls, PA. In the fall of 1976 Don returned to seminary and completed his Master of Divinity degree. In January of 1977 he became pastor of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Seattle and has been their pastor ever since.

Don and Boni have three children. Two were born in Cyprus and one was born in Korea. All three are happily married.

Don is a past moderator of the Reformed Presbyterian Synod. He is currently vice-president of the Board of Trustees of the Reformed Presbyterian Seminary and is on the Board of Corporators of Geneva College. Besides pastoring the church in Seattle, he has had opportunity to speak at a number of conferences and was privileged to teach a course at New Life College in Moscow, Russia in the fall of 2001.

Boni is a psychotherapist in private practice and has co-written several books. Together Don and Boni are co-authors with Jack and Judy Balswick of the book, "Relationship-Empowerment Parenting." Don and Boni love the Lord, the people of the church and the people in the community. We welcome you to come and worship the Lord Jesus Christ together with our congregation.
